With a few clicks away from Gothamist I have found my new favorite food blog.

I love this entry so much, and your 3 burger ambition. I also would like to note the tastiness of Red Robin, which I first experienced in suburban Maryland, outside of Baltimore, where I went to school. I have yet to trek out to the one in New Jersey, but I'd like to throw my vote in that next time you try the "Bleu Ribbon Burger", but I enjoy any collision of meat and blue cheese.

For NYC burgers, I'm sure you've been out Red Hook way for Schnack? When I first moved to Red Hook last summer I went there multiple times per week. There have been some recent changes, but I still give in to the beer shake and schackies.

Red Robin makes one heckuhfa tasty burger. I think part of the charm is the moist/fatty flavor. And of course the size. I recommend the mushroom and swiss one.

Its true, we do call it beetroot and every milkbar is the land serves some variant on the standard "Aussie" (pronounced Auzzie) burger which has one or both of the pineapple and beetroot combo.

Personally I'll go the beetroot anyday, sweet but not sickly, preferably my mum's home made beetroot.

When you do your world tour you should totally visit all your readers restaurant recommendations. Maybe you can ever con them into shouting you dinner.

I'm an australian, and I have bad news for you.

What you had at Rubys was a Segafredo Cappacino. That isn't a starbucks coffee, that's the real deal. I live in Brisbane, Australia, where we have more espresso machines per capita than anywhere in the world - and every morning I go to what I define as the best Coffee Shop in our lovely city.

And they serve Segafredo.

My mother in law once had a crappy drink at a place that was serving segafredo coffee. She phoned Segafredo directly, informed them, and in 3 weeks they were serving another blend. You can't beat that, really.

Your best bet is asking your fares where to get a good espresso coffee and finding out where in your lovely city they're served. Ask questions to weed out those who don't "know" like "And what blend do they serve".

The tip for Starbucks is, order a "Short Cappacino". It's not on the menu, but it's smaller than a 'Tall', at only 12oz but has the same amount of espresso in it. Just less milk. (The 'traditional' cappacino is 5-6ounces, for reference).

(Btw, an aussie calls that 'beetroot', not a 'beet', and they're highly traditional to have on burgers, along with egg, tomato, lettuce, beef and bacon)
